Job Description – Sr. Workday Technical-Functional Expert – Core HCM, Payroll
Shift Schedule:Mon – Fri; 1 PM to 10 PM
Duration Required: 6+ Months

Looking for a Workday Technical-Functional Expert (with Core HCM, Compensation, Payroll and Absence expertise) to join our Human Resources Technology team. We’re seeking an experienced and motivated individual who is ready to take on the challenge of supporting HR and Payroll business operations by providing optimal and scalable technology solutions.
The ideal candidate will possess a combination of functional and technical expertise, as well as a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical partners. You will provide integral support to the Human Resources and Payroll organizations for their technology needs collaborating with HR Business Partners, COEs and HR Shared Services across all business segments.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in HR Technology, or other related capacity.
- 5+ years Payroll experience or equivalent in another similar field.
- A solid understanding of, and experience with, the Workday Payroll and Absence modules.
- Strong experience in configuring Core HCM, Core Compensation and Payroll product areas.
- Expertise in configuring and debugging Business Processes and building solutions in Workday.
- An understanding of the HR technology landscape, including cloud computing and mobile technologies.
- Experience working with business gathering requirements, performing fit gap analysis, designing solutions, creating functional designs, configuring Workday, performing user acceptance testing, and maintaining the health of the product. Create necessary documentation in each phase.
- Strong organizational, analytical, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience taking ownership of the Product area and being responsible for the health of the product.
- Ability to provide timely resolution for the defects and collaboration with SaaS vendors to achieve this.
- The ability to develop and sustain relationships with business partners and stakeholders. Experience working with business partners to optimize their business processes.
- A strong customer service orientation.
- The ability to work effectively in a team environment while managing multiple tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A strong work ethic, be a self-starter, and be able to be highly productive in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
- Ability to generate reports for analysis, data auditing and supporting requests from various business teams.
- Ability to mentor and train junior members in the team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting HR and Payroll systems for large organizations having non-exempt employees.
- Project Management experience
- Experience working in Agile Methodology
- Experience with change management and communications
