Requirements & Responsibilities:

  • 8-10 years of Experience in Server Monitoring, Issue Altert  and good understanding of Ticketing/Monitoring tools for systems.
  • Hands on Zabbix Operations Support on the Day-to-day activities including new onboardings
  • Worked closely with all the Supporting Service Monitors & Support issues if any in Monitoring.
  • Developed templates for use within the Zabbix monitoring environment.
  • Utilized monitoring tools such as Zabbix, SiteScope, and Nagios to determine performance or system issues.
  • Monitored and managed backup and restoration.
  • Utilized troubleshooting skills to hunt down the root causes of issues and persistence in preventing them from happening again.
  • Ensured that tickets were raised and closed as per SLA and if not, escalated as per the escalation matrix defined.
  • Created and handover monitoring dashboards.
  • ITIL foundation or experience of working in an ITIL environment
  • 24×7 proactive monitoring of server. storage, backup, applications, and network environment alerts via monitoring tool and Email
  • Escalate the incidents based on the standard procedure and rundown follow-up reporting per team and area, Escalate incidents Till closure
