SAP HANA Cloud Architect
We are seeking a highly accomplished and technically proficient SAP HANA Cloud Architect to provide strategic and hands-on expertise for our SAP Partner Managed Cloud (PMC) offerings, focusing on RISE with SAP and SAP Cloud for Customer (Sales Cloud & Service Cloud) landscapes.
This role requires deep expertise in SAP HANA database technologies within public/private cloud environments, cloud infrastructure, and the specific architecture demands of SAP’s cloud-centric solutions. The ideal candidate will architect, design, and govern the technical database foundation, ensuring performance, high availability, security, and scalability for our managed services clients.
Off Shore Location: Hyderabad
Key Responsibilities:
The HANA Cloud Architect will primarily focus on the database and underlying technical architecture layers, performing the following key activities/tasks not limited:
- Database Architecture & Planning
- Availability, Recovery & Replication
- Performance & Optimization
- Security & Compliance
- Cloud & Integration Strategy
- Operations & Governance
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in SAP HANA, SAP Database Administration, or SAP Technical Architecture roles.
- Minimum 5 years of direct, hands-on experience architecting and managing SAP HANA databases in a Cloud environment (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Proven experience with the technical aspects of RISE with SAP and/or SAP Partner Managed Cloud (PMC) environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in HANA HA/DR design (e.g., System Replication, Storage Replication).
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAP Certified Technology Associate/Professional – SAP HANA or relevant Cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Database – Specialty, Azure Database Administrator Associate).
- Solid knowledge of system architecture, cloud networking, and security principles applied to SAP landscapes.
- Experience with SAP C/4HANA (C4C) technical landscape and integration requirements.
- Strong analytical/problem-solving skills and ability to translate complex technical requirements into actionable architectural designs.
- Strong influencing and excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Knowledge of automation tools and methodologies for database provisioning and operations (e.g., Infrastructure as Code).
- Experience with MDC/Tenant administration in HANA.
