Java Back End Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring frameworks.
• Build and manage microservices-based architectures ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Apply object-oriented design principles and enterprise design patterns to deliver robust solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical implementations.
• Implement testing strategies including unit, integration, and API testing to ensure quality deliverables.
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases, focusing on efficient design, query optimization, and data handling.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance system performance while supporting production environments.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 4–10 years of experience in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices-based application development.
• Proven experience developing robust and scalable backend systems using Java technologies.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong proficiency in Java with solid understanding of object-oriented design principles.
• Hands-on experience in building backend services using Java, Spring/Spring Boot, and REST APIs and Microservices
• Proven expertise in applying enterprise design patterns.
• Strong experience in unit, integration, and API testing frameworks.
• Experience in designing and developing microservices and distributed systems.
• Strong SQL / NoSQL - PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB
• Experience with Kafka / event-driven architecture experience or similar data streaming platforms.
• Apache ECharts or equivalent charting library -data visualization experience
• Python for scripting and AI/ML integration
• Basic AI/ML awareness - LLM, RAG, AI Agents is a plus
• Strong knowledge of database design, query optimization, and data integration.
