Assess
Inventory assets and dependencies, baseline performance and cost, and evaluate readiness - so the plan is costed against what is actually there.
Where the engagement is people and operations, not a product - staffed, run alongside you, and handed over whenever you're ready.
A defined problem, a defined team, a defined end.
Not every problem needs a permanent team. Pro Services brings the specialists for a specific migration, implementation, audit or transformation - delivered against an agreed scope, then handed over.
Some work has an end date. A cloud readiness assessment, an ITSM implementation, a security audit, a migration cutover - each needs deep expertise for a period measured in weeks, and none of it justifies a permanent hire or a managed-service contract that outlives the work itself.
So we scope it as a project: named specialists, a plan with milestones and a cutover, and a handover at the end. These are the same engineers who run our managed services and migrations, engaged for one piece of work - and when it is done you either own it outright or we stay on to operate it. Both are a decision, not a default.
What the engagement includes
A scoped plan - objectives, milestones, and a defined cutover date
Assessment first - inventory, dependencies, and risk and compliance posture
Proof before commitment - small-scale proofs that test the assumptions
Staged execution - phased delivery with rollback plans at every stage
A handover - your team owns it when we leave, or we stay on managed services
Where we are typically called in
Cloud migration - on-prem to cloud, cloud to cloud, or VM to container
ITSM implementation - incident, problem, change and request management
Application modernization - legacy to cloud, refactoring, security upgrades
Contact Centre build - Dynamics 365, Azure Communication Services, Copilot
Security and compliance - identity and access policies, encryption, audit readiness
The same methodology we use on a full migration, compressed to the size of the problem.
Inventory assets and dependencies, baseline performance and cost, and evaluate readiness - so the plan is costed against what is actually there.
Design the target, prove it at small scale, then deliver in phases with failover and rollback plans and correctness validated at each stage.
Tune, harden and put monitoring, logging and governance in place. Then your team takes it, or it moves onto managed services.
Project-based IT professional services: named specialists brought in for a specific migration, implementation, audit or transformation, delivered against an agreed scope and handed over at the end.
When the work has an end date. A cloud readiness assessment, an ITSM implementation, a security audit or a migration cutover needs deep expertise for weeks, which rarely justifies a permanent hire or a long-running contract.
Most often cloud migration, ITSM implementation, application modernization, contact center builds on Dynamics 365 and Azure Communication Services, and security work such as access policies, encryption and audit readiness.
In three phases: assess (inventory, dependencies and readiness), execute (design, a small-scale proof, then phased delivery with rollback plans), and hand over (tuning, hardening, monitoring and governance).
Your team takes ownership of what was delivered, or it moves onto Thinkwise managed services. Both are a decision made with you, not a default.
Bring us the piece of work with an end date. We will tell you what it takes, who would do it, and when it would be finished.
